Not only there is a game breaking bug at the desert tower section but also the entire story is a travel from station to station with a train. The sexy parts from the previous games are totally gone. Its a train drive with the family. This is really not exciting...The game feels so censored and unfinished to me.Maybe the epic store trouble had to do with it.I dont really know and also kind of dont care about the epic store bashing. The atmosphere and graphics are really beautiful. The pacing and gameplay is annoying and has lost potential. The story is boring and awful compared to the previous games. The overall presentation of the game feels more like a S.T.A.L.K.E.R. (while metro focused on a good story stalker had his open world)I would never buy a Metro game again.. Beautiful game, fun combat.. Overall this game is great. The story and surroundings in the game really draws you in and allows you to experience it. The gun movement in the game is great. However I felt like the exploration in the game, as wonderful as it was, it didn't hold much value if you are a casual player. I felt like they could have had more interactive NPCs that created more of a culture in some areas, instead of always trying to fight your way through. With that being said, I realize that some places there was some NPCs that were not violent, but the reality is they always attacked you first and gave you no choice to attack back. I am saying it would have been nice to have the option to walk up to someone they tell you to lower your weapon or they would shoot.. Metro Exodus is honestly one of my favorite games ever made.I was never too interested in the Metro games. This was probably due to me being kinda young when i first played them, and i was probably scared of them, or something stupid like that. Since then i have finished all three, with Exodus being my favorite. I got pretty excited when I first heard about Metro Exodus. I had played the the first two, and was eager to play the third one. About a year passed and I forgot about Metro, until the whole Epic Games Store exclusivity stuff started happening. I decided to visit the Steam Store and luckily it was still up for pre-order, so i instantly got it. Fast forward a few days/weeks, and it was installed and ready to go.I remembered hearing that the game had different endings, with a "karma" system. During my first play-through, I didn't notice this system at all, besides retrieving certain items for people. I ended up getting the bad ending, and felt bad about it. I looked up how to get the good ending, and there were a lot of inconsistencies in how to exactly get the good ending. I recently replayed the game with the intention of getting the good ending. I had to look at different websites, to try and formulate what i can and can't do. After figuring that out i could actually relax, and not worry about everything i did. I finally got the good ending, and it was pretty amazing. I would definitely recommend this game, even though it's on the Garbage Games Store. Go buy a key on Humble Bundle, because this game definitely deserves the money.. Had game since release, some actions tied to default keybinds do not work for custom binds. Still no patch for that but trying to sell DLC ?? the part I could play was ok but I'm not changing keybinds every time one of these actions comes up. Bought on PC to use kb+m not play controller first interface design. Waste of my money until patched. 10 year old games get keybinds right, pitiful. If you use controller or default binds go for it, for me it's NO.. I waited so long for my beloved Metro to return, I love the Metro series but I'm not having much fun with this game. I will recommend this game on sale!Ok Cons and Pros :-Cons- Lack of guns , pneumatic gun lasts about as long as me watching♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥and I have to pump twice as hard for it to work!- Combat (gunplay) is borderline awful - No option to change 'aim down sights' sensitivity so you have to be a professional safe cracker to successfully hit a target.- Ammo doesn't last long....about as long as my....Nevermind!- Found myself getting stuck in the environment, Artyom can't jump...hes no super Mario brother!- I think Artyom has the athletic ability of a brick wall! and he must have asthma because hes out of breath after 20 meters or so.Pros - Good storyline but I find myself drifting in and out of the long conversations.- Atmospheric, tense at times- Great graphics - Runs smoothAs you can see in my OPINION the pros are not that many or important.. Pros:Lets start by saying that's this is the best game out of all the metro series,They added a lot of cool of game mechanics. They improved the gun play so much it feels like your handling a real gun and the gun gets dirty so you must clean it so bullets don't get stuck. The the environments are as always very atmospheric and good looking as its one of the best looking games i have ever played. The game feels easier then the last two games by some margin,The story is so emotional and make's you care about your crew so much.Cons:The bad things in the game are it feels unpolished there are a lot of bugs and you get stuck in the geometry a lot some maps feels bigger then they need to,The game incentivize you to be stealthy which I'm bad at.♥♥♥♥ Epic Games.. Game is riddled with bugs and crashes. There is a game-breaking bug with Damir, had to restart the whole chapter because of that damn bug. 8 hours worth of gameplay down the drain. Please do not buy the game at its current state. The devs are also lazy and have not fixed the game-breaking bug despite acknowledging it since February. Crashed a few times as well. Other than that, there is no other saves, meaning if you are trapped in a death loop or a bug, you will have to restart the whole chapter. Although, the gameplay is good and the story is also interesting, the amount of bugs in this game makes the experience less satisfying and enjoyable.. Honestly, prefer metro last light because it was more linear (better story due to that) and felt more connected to everything going on around you. In exodus, the world feels to large since their are not many side missions and the world just feels empty. Additionally, some areas had no filters or ammo forcing me to keep restarting to try and get cutscene to pop up to save me. However, the new guns, enemies, and monsters make it worthwhile on sale, around $30. Metro Exodus Expansion Pass Roadmap: We’re very happy to announce the Expansion Pass roadmap for Metro Exodus. After its release in February this year, and the release of the vast Ranger Update a month afterwards, we know fans have been excitedly waiting to hear more on what’s coming for the DLC, and we’re happy to finally share that with you. There will be two major pieces of story-driven DLC for the game, following brand new stories from the world of Metro. Instead of Artyom, players will have the chance to see through the eyes of a brand new character and of one of the Spartan Rangers, the Aurora’s only American, Sam. Both of these will be available as part of the expansion pass, but will also be available for purchase separately.A quick word of warning: if you have not yet completed the Metro Exodus campaign, the following contains spoilers.Coming in Summer 2019, the first story that players will follow, The Two Colonels, is that of Colonel Khlebnikov, just below the surface, under the dead city of Novosibirsk, as he makes his way home to his son, Kirill, for New Year’s Eve.But all is not well with the people here: the slime is further consuming the tunnels, mutant attacks appear to be on the rise and the precious ‘green stuff’ that protects the people from radiation poisoning is running low. In order to secure the survival of any of the people, those in charge may need to take drastic measures… Following the journey and experiences of Khlebnikov during the last days of life in Novosibirsk, which Colonel Miller retraces a year later, players can expect the classic story-driven gameplay of the Metro series in this new linear chapter, complete with a brand new weapon, the deadly flame-thrower, claustrophobic environments, and the all-too-familiar hair-raising tension. The second piece of DLC, Sam’s Story, coming to players in early 2020, is the brand new sandbox survival level based on Vladivostok. Sam, a US marine at the Moscow embassy before the bombs were dropped, has long dreamed of returning to his homeland, and maybe finding his family alive. The prospect seemed impossible in the darkened tunnels of the Metro, but when the Spartans discovered that Moscow was not the only city left alive after the war, holding out hope didn’t feel so foolish anymore. Sam makes his way away from the Aurora in search of a way back to the USA, arriving at the remains of Vladivostok’s tsunami ravaged harbours, ruined industrial buildings, and crumbling residential districts. To complete his journey, Sam will discover that he needs every tactic he has learned so far to survive, as his surroundings prove to be far trickier than expected. Players will forge Sam's path through the sandbox survival landscape of Vladivostok, as they take a brand new journey across the wasteland of post-apocalyptic Russia.Never miss a thing.
